BCOHRC was invited to make a submission on the human rights implications of the agreement between BC Corrections and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to use provincial prisons to detain asylum-seekers under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) as the provincial government reviews the agreement.
