Address the root causes of inequality, discrimination and injustice in B.C. by shifting laws, policies, practices and cultures. We do this work through education, research, advocacy, inquiry and monitoring.

Released in April 2025, “We’re still here”—the final report of the Commissioner’s inquiry into involuntary detentions under the Adult Guardianship Act (AGA)—reveals serious human rights issues with the legislation and practices.
