Join our free, 90-minute educational session to learn more about some ways to address systemic discrimination.
Learning objectives
By considering real-life stories and examples of successful actions, participants will reflect on how systemic discrimination shows up in their communities and organizations and consider strategies to address it.
By the end of the session, participants will:
- review the key characteristics and impacts of systemic discrimination
- reflect on reasons for taking action
- identify one organizational or community-based example of systemic discrimination
- consider different types of actions to address it
- become familiar with an action-planning tool to support next steps
These sessions are free and are offered to all members of the public several times throughout the year.
