We want to support Community Amplifiers in B.C. These are the groups that are taking on our challenge to spread the word about how to STOP misinformation in their communities. We are providing $500 mini-grants to support community projects to some groups that want to become Community Amplifiers.

- First Nations
- student groups, teachers or classrooms (must apply through their school)
What is expected of a Community Amplifier?
Community Amplifiers are expected to:

- use our Office’s Can You STOP It campaign resources as the foundation to create a local campaign or community awareness project to address the misinformation issue that you identified

Priority will be given to applications that:
- creatively address a misinformation issue that may be impacting human rights in the applicant’s community

- have a strategy that is well-defined and reasoned
- are from rural and remote areas in B.C. and/or regionally represent communities in B.C.
