Free webinars and educational sessions

  • B.C.’s Human Rights Code

  • Systemic discrimination: Part 1 – Introduction

Learn about how systems in our workplaces, organizations and communities can create barriers and harms for certain groups.

  • Systemic discrimination: Part 2 – What we can do

Learn more about some ways to address systemic discrimination.

  • Xenon 2

“Xenon 2: Your Experience Awaits!” is an immersive education experience designed to support learners in developing a strong understanding of systemic discrimination and to encourage reflection about how it may show up in their organizations and communities.

  • Grandmother’s perspective: Disaggregated data

You will be introduced to how the Grandmother Perspective offers guidance on how to collect and use disaggregated demographic data in a way that minimizes the risk of harm and furthers the aim of addressing and ending systemic inequalities.

A note on accessibility and interpretation

Zoom generated closed captioning and translated captions will be available at this event. If you have other accessibility requirements, including ASL interpretation, please contact us at least two weeks prior to the event at [email protected].

Simultaneous interpretation is available for this session if requested in advance. If you have a translation request, please contact us at [email protected] at least two weeks prior to the event.

Participant engagement and group sessions

Due to the large number of participants attending webinars, the content of these sessions has been developed for a broad audience and participant engagement will be limited to polls, reflection and posting in the Q&A.

We welcome your requests for a customized and more interactive session for your organization or group. Please contact us through our Event Request page.

To support our limited capacity and for optimal planning, we prefer six months’ notice. Our team will follow up on all requests to discuss your needs.
